The Classic Ford Truck Club Is
Thriving!
In the mid 1990's a new
club was organized in the small town of Arthur, ON which has evolved into
the what is currently known as the Classic Ford Truck Club. The
original club is also responsible for starting the Canadian Ford & Mercury
Truck Nationals, a two day event that is only open Ford & Mercury
Trucks, Vans, Broncos, & Rancheros. One of the reasons this two day
show is unique, compared to many other nationals events, is that it is
open to any and all years of Ford/Mercury Trucks. Due to the success
of this original organization, there are now three chapters of the Classic
Ford Truck club.
A few years ago a
second chapter of the Classic Ford Truck Club started
in the Haldimand County area. The Haldimand Chapter has a great membership, and
has already had some minor successes, due to those same club members.
One of the most notable successes is the first annual Haldimand Ford
Truck Show & Shine Cruise that was held in July of 2008.
The Classic Ford Truck
Club's most recent chapter was officially started in March of 2008, and
is located in the Grand Bend area. The Ontario West Coast
Chapter has some very loyal members, who always show up for key events
no matter where in the province they are located. It is exciting
to have a new chapter, and see where they will go.
We are always looking for
more Ford Truck Enthusiasts, so if you are
from the Arthur area, Haldimand or Norfolk counties, the Grand Bend area, or
any place in between then we are not
too far from you. We invite you to come out to a meeting as a guest, to see what we are
all about and meet other Ford Truck Enthusiasts.
